Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Gather your ingredients.
Wash and thinly slice your apple. The thicker the slices, the longer they'll have to cook.
Mix in cinnamon and sugar together. We eyeballed how much to use of each.
Place cut apple slices on a pan with wax paper or a silpat. A silpat will help keep them from sticking. It was harder with wax paper. Then, sprinkle one side with your cinnamon sugar mixture.
Bake apple slices for 1 hour, then flip them over and bake for another 1 to 1.5 hours.
Turn the oven off and let the apples cool inside for an additional hour. This will help them get crunchy. For larger slices, you may need to cook longer for more crunch.
