Make a slip knot
Put it on one of the knitting needles and tighten stitch.
Insert right needle into stitch as if to knit (from fron to back).
Wrap working yarn clockwise around right needle.
While holding working yarn in right hand pull right needle down through cast-on stitch catching the working yarn and pulling it through the stitch on the left needle.
Do not remove the stitch off of the left needle.
Transfer the new cast-on stitch from the right needle to the left needle by inserting the tip of the left needle into the loop of the stitch that you have just created on the right needle and slipping
the stitch from the right needle to the left needle. This will place the right needle back into position as if you wer going to knit a stitch. Continue in this manner until you have
the desired number of cast-on stitches. I casted on 7 stitches.
